@KySquirrel_90@ScottMcCreaWest I prefer 7 Samurai, and would hold up Tombstone and Appaloosa on a similar pedestal. But I won’t go as far as to say you’re wrong. It’s a mighty fine movie.
@hwjohnston7 I prefer https://t.co/IKikDkfw7f to find older names and variant spelling to match the meaning or culture I want to evoke in a character’s personality.
@LordTBR_FFA Let’s not forget the accidental perfect casting of Alexander Ludwig as Bjorn, who started “okay,” then turned out to be (or grew to be) a really good actor in his own right as the series continued!
@JoeBerne1 I agree. As Gen Z are generally the children of Gen X, who through Punk Culture developed GrimDark for a storystyle as apropos to their own situation. “If you can’t beat the man, tear it down.” It’s a baton being passed. Different, but similar.
@MikeWingerii (Ok. We didn’t pay ticket price for church. But you know what I mean. Full on conversations during either worship or the sermon is just reprehensible…)
@SpencerKlavan I agree that this is the best delivery I’ve ever seen (and I’ve seen a lot.) Scott interprets the lines of Hamlet in the most physical way, showing the lines, in a way that is never insulting. If anyone has watched Hamlet and not “gotten it” needs to watch this performance.
