Aquaman: Yo-Ho-Hold Onto Your Hook is back! In this week's Episode 22 artist @andrewdrilon pulls off an Eisner-worthy visual masterpiece combining different styles, palettes and print textures from the Sea King's storied history while paying a mix-n-match homage to icons Paul Norris, Ramona Fradon, Nick Cardy, Butch Guice and Alex Ross (with design nods to Craig Hamilton and Robson Rocha) in a vertical tapestry that is a feast for the eyes *and hearts* of Aquaman fans from every era! 🪝🏴‍☠️ 🔱

My design sheets for “Aquaman: Yo-Ho-Hold Onto Your Hook,” where we pay tribute to the rich history of Aquaman and some of the many artists that shaped it.

As comic book printing tech matured over Aquaman’s history, I liked the idea of that this man got more detailed as he aged.
