Ever heard the phrase "good enough"? If you have, be warned: It's an invitation for mediocrity. When you strive for excellence, you likely land at a "good" -- when you strive for "good" you likely land at mediocre/ordinary. And ordinary doesn't yield extraordinary results.
Everything you want in life is on the other side of something that sucks.
That suck might be 100 workouts.
That suck might be 100 hours of focused work.
That suck might be 100 hard conversations.
The best things in life require you to endure upfront pain.
Embrace the suck.
@AM980News This is a great boost for direct to brewery, winery, and distillery commerce, wine rack, grocery stores, wine/beer making stores, and I guess the Beer Store. LCBO's main advantage is Aeroplan points and import selection. Oh and DIY beer/wine/vodka at home it a great skill!
Don't be fooled: Success is not the opposite of failure, they are parts of a whole as much as running a marathon and sweating. If you expect to run a marathon without perspiring, well, you won't have a prayer.
As I like to say, the sweat of success is failure.
ACTION IS EVERYTHING.
You can't light a fire without striking a match.
You can't score a goal if you never take a shot.
You can't catch fish if you never cast a line.
You can't harvest crops never planting seeds.
You can't cross the sea if you refuse to leave the shore.
Opinion: Regular small wins create a better life than sporadic big wins.
Launching a new product, that big epic vacation, or selling your company.
All are great, but those feelings fade fast.
Optimize for the daily.
Contentment comes from the daily wins.
