Congrats on the NYT treatment @RandBall@thepressboxpod interesting strategy to save and expand local journalism don’t you think?

@thepressboxpod@bryancurtis Enjoy Chicago! You have to find a copy of The Onion and its reverse early aughts journalism trope, pivoting to print

@bryancurtis@thepressboxpod Golly geez, that’s a lot of roller coastering don’t cha know (trying to be Minnesotan for ya). It must have been dead when you went. Back when I was a weekend producer in Louisville a group of us made the pilgrimage to Sandusky every summer. Those lines were always so long.
Nominating folksy as an only in journalism word @thepressboxpod. National media uses it a lot to describe Gov. Walz. Nobody in the Midwest would use that word to describe ourselves.
Also, @bryancurtis what was your favorite coaster at Cedar Point?
Did you see this @RandBall and @Seth_Kaplan? Of note, this was supposed to be at Target Center, but the Myth folded.
Arena Bowl XXXIII... played at a SHOPPING MALL?!? https://t.co/m4iL7CANFB via @YouTube
@thepressboxpod only in journalism nominee (if you haven’t had it already) vaunted. See this sentence on WBD matching Amazon’s NBA deal from Andrew Marchand at The Athletic.
@thepressboxpod may I humbly submit for an overworked? I can’t count the doctored number of white wine lists appearing on my feed….
@bryancurtis you may get the brokered convention every journalist dreams about…
Hey @LukeBK, can you and @CordCuttersNews give me any better options of local TV, that isn't from the major players? I have terrible antenna coverage in my area, so that is not an option i have. Like a lot of people, I miss #LocastTV
@bryancurtis@thepressboxpod Not to mention the dozen or so US newspapers with dispatch in its name. An all time favorite was the St. Paul (MN) Pioneer-Press and Dispatch which was once the longest masthead in the country. Dropping the “and” in 1986, then the Dispatch in 1990.
Sorry about your Mavs @bryancurtis but it did spawn an only in journalism entry @thepressboxpod with double meaning: get rid of or reporting i.e. dispatches from the front lines:
