@TopherTopher33 I think Anne Hathaway is definitely happening for The Odyssey. Samantha Morton deserves a nomination but I feel like Anne could be in the winning conversation
@INA_TheatreSnob I was going to go watch regardless of casting as it’s always great for Sondheim to be back in London. However, I am getting a feeling that we won’t get this production at all as it sounds like there has been a lot of tensions bts since Ari dropped out and creatives are fed up
@iambri_97 Variety said in an article during the Sunday in the Park with George announcement that West Side Story was looking to play at the National in 2027 with Marianne Elliott as director I believe so I reckon their beginning the process for it now.

@itsrosiesturn I reckon One Day will end up winning Best New Musical at the Oliviers next year. Had wonderful reviews in Edinburgh and will likely translate into London well. I even think Jamie Muscato could win an Olivier for the show at this point
@itsrosiesturn It’s been a matter of when since the first preview in my eyes. It’s more surprising to me how it is transferring literally seven months after premiering in the West End, there’s not been a show like this to do that in a long long time.
@itsrosiesturn I’m praying they record one during the Noel Coward run so it can be a West End cast recording. Not sure if the original Bridge cast are returning though, as I would want those voices back!
@INA_TheatreSnob I’m hoping that we can get a West End transfer but the fact that it’s closing on Broadway early due to poor ticket sales makes me think that maybe it won’t happen sadly :(
@emelodical I think Billy Nevers will be promoted to Principal. If he’s the alternate at the Palladium and the fact that Simon (the role he plays is now uncast at the same time as Judas), I reckon he’ll be promoted
@itsrosiesturn I think it’s a small window to allow Into the Woods to extend. Once the run at the Bridge ends, I think ticket sales will increase and they’ll eventually extend.
@madsonmelo@orphyaas I think Caissie would’ve won if Nicole wasn’t nominated but the domination that Evita will hold makes me think that Rachel will win. She has an influence around her that no one else on Broadway has right now and I think the anticipation around Evita will catapult her to win.
@aseltee@anytimealwys @catbunnyswift @jcststella I believe when Sunset transferred to Broadway, they brought a few of the West End ensemble with them though?
@LolaBlahnicks09@orphyaas If Dreamgirls does well, I could see it winning a lot of Tonys but I think Evita will be the talk of the season, just like when Sunset was on Broadway, and potentially more influential because of Rachel Zegler so I’d be surprised if she didn’t win
@emelodical If they are teasing an announcement now, I assume it will release in time for the 2027 Tonys (which means Rachel can win her well deserved Tony earlier)
