MTL WEEK 5 🎯

This is it - the final push before Judgement Night! With no more interruptions ahead, it’s all systems go for the captains and their teams 🚀

Week 4 once again delivered: top-quality darts, big shocks, and plenty of Waynes. Pre-night predictions had all eyes on Albert’s Army vs Mex’s All Stars, the 1 v 2 matchup and it didn’t disappoint. The Army led 3-1 at the break, but as always, the All Stars don’t lose 4v4s, battling back to make it 3-2.

We’re now officially at the halfway mark, and the league table is starting to take shape… but not necessarily how anyone expected 👀. The top two sit two legs clear of the chasing pack, while at the other end, Pour Decisions are four legs adrift of safety. This week, they face the unbeaten Army, is this their breaking point, or is there still life left in the Pour lads yet? 🍻

We kick off the night with a proper classic: Beer Necessities vs The Crumpeteers 🍺🥞.
Both former MTL champions, both desperate for bragging rights. BN have just one win so far and need a big performance here. Christel, Mooch, Dudz & Illy face off against Benji, Jelly, The Mullet & Warrlad, four elite entertainers on either side. This opener has last-leg decider written all over it! 🔥

Our Pick of the Games goes to Bed & Breakfast vs The Rattlers 🛏️🐍 last season’s champions against the side that topped the regular season. It’s a true six-pointer: win and you’re right in the mix for the top two; lose and that gap gets real. The ever-present Peersy, featuring in all four league matches so far, goes head-to-head with Don. Will they be the names ringing out from the crowd, or will it be Deano, Tucks, or even the MG Godfather himself, Sir Hani? This one’s got fireworks written all over it 🎆.

And finally, we close with a blockbuster: Mex’s All Stars vs The Haggis Hitters ⭐🐮.
Quality everywhere you look. Mex, back on the oche and teaming up in-house with his second-favourite son Alfie Daphie, take on Myles and reigning Mud World Champ Benny B. In the other room, the red-hot Foxz (5 from 5 in the MSL!) partners Swampy against the 0161 duo Big Mobes & Martim. Expect chaos, class, and local bragging rights on the line. With Kane still missing somewhere in Morecambe, can the All Stars take advantage or will the Hitters muscle their way into the top half?

It’s so good to be back 🙌. The MTL is the talk of the town, the tension is building, and the stage is set.
