@PhilArmstrong58 So we’ve gone from “extent of AS in Labour was exaggerated” under Corbyn - so an admission that Corbyn complicit in anti-Semitism to “he’s not at all AS”. And you don’t think you’re in a cult?
Just admit you’d rather have a Tory government than a non-JC Labour!
@PhilArmstrong58 Also, given the lying parasites we have in government if you valued truth as much as you claim it’s unclear why getting rid of them is not more important to you than whether one old bloke has the party whip.
@PhilArmstrong58 1. You’ve made perfectly clear it’s more important to you that JC gets the whip than we get rid of the Tories. If that’s your position, you aren’t a socialist, you’re in a cult.
2. Once your argument is “yes he’s anti-Semitic but not that anti-Semitic” you’ve lost.
@marcuscarslaw1@nadsday And if I recall my defamation classes correctly as she’s accusing them of a criminal offence there is a presumption that it is defamatory and the burden is on her to make out a defence (presumably in this case that they are in fact criminals).
One has to ask how this driver hasn’t been done for attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon. If someone had fired a gun at a group of people they’d certainly never be able to legally own a gun again but heck 4 years and let him drive again!
This driver appealed their sentence of 5 years. The appeal was heard and their sentence reduced to 4 years.
He is a delivery driver.
He did this as revenge for a prior exchange of words.
He should never be allowed to drive again.
@UB5simon How is Pyongyang a “global” city. It’s hard to imagine a more insular place than North Korea - it’s so laughable to suggest Pyongyang is a “major global city” that i genuinely wonder if the list is propaganda to get people sharing a list that says Pyongyang is a major global city
Hi @IsabelOakeshott this sounds to me that you didn’t know what you were voting for but grateful if you could please confirm either a) you didn’t know what you were voting for or b) you voted to support something that appals you?
@BWallArthur That’s not fair - @TomTugendhat was very prominent on Radio 4 this morning calling on the EU to lead an intervention! Ironic given his disdain for the EU but let’s not that get in the way of him having his cake and eating it!
🎵 Oh the weather outside is frightful 🎵
But you can still win a case of #liquidgold this #Frie-day 😀
Simply RT and your name is in the hat 🎩
GOOD LUCK 🍻
Wow @theroyalparks have struck out with this - cars on roads - no risk to anyone and not a disturbance! E-scooters on roads - nah mate, that’s too dangerous!
@DeanRGrundy @merekatmart @RussInCheshire Most slagging off I see is primarily “he’s not Jeremy Corbyn” - so it’s not exactly constructive it’s just vociferous ball kicking from people who supposedly want a Labour government!
@merekatmart @RussInCheshire And so despite the argument that Corbyn failed because he was kicked in the balls every day, Corbyn supporters proceed to support Boris Johnson by kicking Starmer in the balls everyday. True heroes of the Labour movement one and all!
@SamueleMarcora Indeed. Have you read Burn by Pontzer? - which also suggests (consistent with lots of anecdotes) diminishing returns given our bodies’ adaptability!
@UB5simon container shipping is surprisingly green. According to various research the environment impact of driving to a shop to buy a CD player (it’s old research) is greater than the impact of shipping that same CD player across the pacific in a container ship!
