@duffgibson @mattyoung101 With a bit more time to reflect, umbrella org will likely not work. Need to blow up the existing model and create what is needed. Critical is to help existing talent (leadership & technical) to find the best roles in the new system. Otherwise, it turns into hunger games.

@duffgibson @mattyoung101 Umbrella org of some sort is critical. Athlete membership with club, prov, and national org is a $ system hard to unwind. Similar challenge with having full-time $ coaching salaries at dev level programming. All make it an interesting challenge to take on!!

@SkateCanada Same old sport system. Big egos sitting in offices who've forgotten how bloody hard it is to get clubs, talented coaches, and young athletes to commit to the time it takes to become Olympic calibre. Anyone watching knows Walsh & Michaud should have the spot they earned. Brutal.
