@welliver_titus Hi Titus. Love your work! Is there any chance that you'll record any more of the #Bosch novels? If there's no more #Bosch and no more #BoschLegacy, that's about all that's left to hope for!!
@CharlieJustADOG@ianmiles The last time people started doing Nazi salutes, the US fought with us against them. The last time Russians invaded a neighbouring country, the US condemned them. The last time a war-time leader visited the oval office without a suit, a bust was made of him which Trump still has
I think that name was last valid in about 1984! It's now the Dept of Health and Social care, I believe. I know it's now probably going to change again after today's announcement, but we may as well get it right!!
@AndrewSparrow Hi Andrew - In your 09:48 update today, you said "Wes Streeting, the health secretary, will give an update on NHS England, where about half the HQ workforce is being cut to avoid duplication with the work done by the Department of Health and Social Security"
@labour_history@steverichards14@greenmiranda@iainmartin1@montie Really enjoyed it..... except that there was a problem with the last 5 - 10 mins of the last episode, which had a weird overlay of multiple copies of the audio, which made it pretty much unlistenable... An edit issue?
@TheNewsAgents Although I've agreed with your analysis that Labour shd get their skates on over rules on political funding, does the falling out between Musk and Farage show that they were right to chill and play the long game? Was the spat always inevitable, and is it terminal?
@breeallegretti@NWJK - If you want a proper debate, why block me before I've even said anything to you? If not, then fine - make a statement and put your fingers in your ears rather than have a conversation.
@breeallegretti I support this govt, and it's an important change to have seriousness and competence in government, shorn of gimmicks. But gawd he's a dull orator. Where's the energy? Where's the passion, the conviction?
@cricketshow You asked people to send you voice notes - did I miss where you told us how? I've followed you since 2015, and haven't missed an episode, having listened to all 4 now. For the next pod - watching IND v NZ, AUS v IND and ENG v NZ, is winning at home now impossible?
@nichepursuits@jaredbauman
Story in today's Observer newspaper here in the UK which might be of interest to you for next week's This Week In Niche Pursuits: https://t.co/Rqyw2gZOBG
@lewis_goodall My instinct is that the whole thing is a giant mistake. They had planned to protect WOKING people - those in the town near where Keir grew up. But then there was a typo in the manifesto....
@sourav_b88@AatifNawaz@NeelamAofficial I thought cricket was supposed to be a civilised sport? What happened? A team had a bad day - they'll have a good one soon, and no doubt bad and good ones after that. Is there really the need f9r such vitriol?
@MarinaHyde A (genuine) question for your Q&A. How does podcast monetisation work in a world (deep voice, obvs) where I can pay Β£95 for the whole of Amazon Prime (inc free delivery etc), Netflix for Β£60, or a single podcast for Β£80? Did the idea of patreon etc fail?
@AndrewSparrow π Just to be clear, I wasn't implying that you were being unfair at all. But I think it's an interesting discussion - she's not elected, takes no public money, and in today's world is thankfully not just an adjunct of her man! No comment either way from me, but worth a thought.
@AndrewSparrow I have a question regarding the issue of #frockgate. Why is it inappropriate for the spouse of the PM to accept gifts from a 3rd party? Yes, of course it's possible that they might not be offered but for his job, but are the PM and her not separate entities?
@BBCSport#bbctennis - Is the Wimbledon commentary box right next to the radio commentary? There's a constant bubble of chatter in the background, which is a bit distracting... π
