Took a few weeks to make this new statistic, please read! RAMP uses statistics that correlate with the MVP points awarded over the past 10 seasons to predict who MVP voters will select in the current season.
What does it mean for a player to be more "valuable" than another player? R.A.M.P. quantifies value by analyzing which statistics have been most appreciated by past MVP voters.
New article by KH writer @andrewobsitnik explaining his new advanced stat:

@Buster_ESPN Yes, the 550 point difference is mathematically a bigger gap than the 350. But all I was saying was that most players could be called a “barometer” for their team’s own success. Having large differences (350 is) in production between wins and losses is incredibly normal.
@TheWARmonger_ Is average bat speed a good indicator for long term sustainability? Especially for a guy with a 140 OPS+ over 3,000 PAs in the majors already?
@TheWARmonger_ pretty sure he would have lost his life slamming into the wall if he caught it, but curious to know what Chourio’s triple bottom of the 5th today stats for PCA is?
@TheWARmonger_ This might be a dumb question, but do you think PCA’s OAA is impacted much by having a brick wall with the net in the outfield as opposed to others who can rob homers and have padding out there?
