Happily survived my viva in the midst of a heatwave and ended this PhD not with a whimper but with a bang ๐ฃ๐ many thanks are due to my supervisors, Prof Laura Giovannelli and Prof Fausto Ciompi, for their insightful comments and their invaluable guidance over these years.
Iโm also incredibly grateful to my examiners, Prof @Anthony_J_Cuda, Dr Nicoletta Asciuto and Prof Ulrika Maude, for expressing enthusiasm towards my work, for their precious feedback, and for their useful suggestions.
I had the pleasure to work on this and I'm excited to see it coming together! ๐๐ป Feel welcome and join us on the 20th for a little chat and some reading/editing/desperate PhD thesis writing (if you're in my same sinking boat ๐ซ ). Check below to sign up!

@romankochergin@IntlTSEliotSoc I'm honestly shattered but we had great fun! You should have come/join next event :) hope everything's going well with you!
Managed to the end (not with a whimper, but with a bang!) of 4 long and exciting days at the @IntlTSEliotSoc annual meeting in Dublin ๐ฎ๐ช Great papers and chats - it was so lovely to meet again with old & new friends
@johnhaffenden Looking forward to this, congratulations John! Although I had a bit of a sneek peek at some of the letters at King's Archive these last few days - interesting stuff!
I'm honestly sick of the atmosphere here and the current spread of hatred and misinformation. Might still check in every once in a while, but in the meantime please find me in the other place ๐ฆ
Such heartbreaking news. A mackintosh square will forever be at her disposition on a distant hill overlooking Florence.
Rest in peace, Dame Maggie Smith. ๐ฏ๏ธ
