@Sam4PoMo Without comment on the rest of the project, underground parking is very expensive to build & ⬆️ exponentially with each additional level down ($26m/266 seems right).

One of many reasons cities should end parking minimums and consider parking maximums within development policies.

@BrentToderian ...many people who are challenged on their car use (& shown they could transit for regular/daily use) point to the need for a car in occassional circumstances (groceries, golf clubs, rides to kids sports) where car-sharing fits so well. It removes the excuse.

For quick results, enable the regulatory changes to encourage effective free-floating car sharing.

Cars as a solution seems counter- intuitive, but....

@ColossalOrder I stopped playing the old version because I couldn't build my city the way I wanted - with pedestrian & cycle only infrastructure in certain areas that didn't require roads. I could build them - but they had no impact on transportation.

@marktrumpet1975 @mnolangray @humantransit Yes...and 10 min off-peak/weekend. That's the absolute minimum one should expect for a city of that size - with only 2 metro lines (it's not 4, it's 2 with a couple small branches).
