I worked at NCAR.
What they do isn’t “climate alarmism.”
It’s the backbone of weather prediction, wildfire modeling, flood risk, aviation safety, and disaster preparedness used by states, cities, farmers, and the military.
Weather and climate science aren’t separable in the real world.
You can’t predict tomorrow’s storms while pretending long-term atmospheric physics don’t exist.
That’s like running a hospital that refuses to believe in germs.
Project 2025’s goal isn’t efficiency.
It’s control — centralize, politicize, and silence independent expertise that contradicts power.
Undermining NCAR doesn’t own the libs. It endangers communities, farmers, pilots, firefighters, insurers, and emergency planners — all so ideologues can wage war on reality.
History won’t be kind to this kind of sabotage. One day the question won’t be “who dismantled climate science,”
it will be why so many adults with children chose short-term ideology over long-term survivability.
NCAR won’t be on trial.
These decisions will be.
@russvought@russvought airplanes and airports around the world, use technology from @NCAR_Science to keep us safe from wind bursts. This lab is not political, it's science. Everyone go watch the movie @idiocracy to see where this @POTUS administration is taking us...to THE BOTTOM @GovofCO
🚨BREAKING NEWS🚨
The #NFL allegedly told teams to NOT DRAFT SHEDEUR SANDERS, according to Hall of Famer Eric Dickerson.
“The #NFL told teams… don’t draft him. Do not draft him… we are going to make an example of him”
ONE OF THE BIGGEST SPORTS SCANDALS EVER IF TRUE….😳😳😳
@NFL_DovKleiman How is Elway not on the legendary list. Carried his team to 5 SBs over 15 seasons. Won 2. Rodgers, Brees, all these guys with a single SB are not ahead of Johnny Ballgame.
California is the 4th largest economy in the WORLD.
We keep America’s economy running —
giving $83 billion to the federal government, while you TAKE $71 billion.
We literally subsidize your work.
But nice graphic.
Here's Michael Porter Jr. thanking the Nuggets organization, especially Tim Connelly, Josh Kroenke, and Stan Kroenke, for the last seven years in Denver.
Mike has and always will be genuine. Hoping for his ongoing success in Brooklyn and beyond.

@RepMTG@repMTG = clown 🤡
Maybe climate change is real. If not you better blame God. If the Dems can win an election, you really think they can control the weather.
Thanks helping us closer to #Idiocracy
Hey @JDVance — nice of you to finally make it out to California.
Since you’re so eager to talk about me, how about saying it to my face?
Let’s debate. Time and place?
The question of prosecuting Donald Trump for January 6, 2021, is complex and divisive. Legally, the federal case against him was dismissed in November 2024 due to DOJ policy against prosecuting sitting presidents. Evidence suggests his actions played a role in the Capitol attack, with 210 defendants citing his influence, but proving criminal intent for insurrection is debated. Some argue prosecution is vital for democracy; others see it as politically driven, noting his impeachment acquittal. Public opinion splits sharply along partisan lines. As of June 2025, no active federal cases exist, but the issue remains unresolved and polarizing.
