Building an adaptive, safe, and actually real-time AI tutor is an insane project. It feels a bit like what I imagine building the first iPhone felt where there are 1,000 moving pieces, but if you get it right, you set the standard for the future.
We’re excited to share more with the world about what we’re learning as we build.
When craft meets care! It was great closely collaborating & partnering with the @newgenre_studio team to bring the brand + vision of Ello 2.0 to life!
Your child is one of a kind. Their learning should be too.
Say hello to @LearnWithEllo , the world's most advanced AI reading & math teacher for children aged 4–9 👋 Team @newgenre_studio partnered with Ello on their latest brand identity & website 🫶
@CatalinVoss Our team's put a lots of thought and hard work into building this new version of Ello. Excited for this to finally be live and for families to give it a try!
Everyone's asking what AI can do for their job.
We asked if it could teach a 6-year-old.
Introducing Ello 2.0: reading, math & more for ages 4-9. Free tier for all.
If we want AI to force-multiply humanity, let's start with teaching our youngest.
Calling all designers and design leaders: we're hosting a panel and happy hour @ Ello HQ during SF Design Week! https://t.co/iXQ54CjKSu
Join us for an evening of conversation and exchange ideas with leaders asking the important questions around designing for our childrens' future.
We have an exciting panel lined up from our design colleagues @pcho (VP of Design @ Brilliant), Shu Lai (Head of Design @ Outschool), Bryan Cash (Design Director @ ClassDojo), and Dr. Sonia Tiwari (expert in children’s media research). The panel will be facilitated by our Co-Founder, child psychologist Elizabeth Adams, Ph.D.
Spots are limited so be sure to register quickly!
I’m looking to hire talented designers, engineers, or anyone inbetween to join me in reimagining how kids learn at Ello.
Our work cuts through learning design & AI, and aims to bring delightful, personalized learning to all children.
If this speaks to you, please reach out!
@diabrowser Update: Found that dia had remapped positional tab switching to cmd+shift+]/[
Still a UX loss that dia overrides the expected system behaviour of ctrl+tab and the new shortcut requiring both hands.
Anyone else with problems with @diabrowser tab switching behavior?
I open links to new tabs via cmd+click and tab switching by recency breaks this workflow :/
