Pleased to join in the @vivacampaigns
day of action yesterday in Bristol.
Hope we changed some hearts & minds about the dreadful dairy industry.

@andrholder @RussCheshire @MairiGougeon @marinescotland @scotgov How long will it take for these agencies to be staffed from top to bottom with amoral numpties, the same as we see in the industries they promote?
1 more generation maybe? Take Gougeon, she used to push her “animal lover” thing. Now she’s fronting 30,000 tonnes of diseased fish!
People interested in the truth about salmon farming need to watch this 5 minute clip. Many thanks to @alex4salmon for sharing. The full video is also below. @marinescotland @ScottishEPA @MairiGougeon @NicolaSturgeon
@andrholder @RussCheshire @MairiGougeon @marinescotland @scotgov That’s that then. Leave it up to the producers themselves to find out when they’ve polluted enough.
Bye bye wild salmon and serpulid reefs.
@Salmoncon @RussCheshire @MairiGougeon @marinescotland @scotgov She's now suggesting changing the licence period for fish farms from 6 years to 25 years!
Volumes of pesticide and chemical treatments dumped directly into the sea at salmon farms considered a risk to swimmers.
The fatal effects to native wildlife are well known.
When will @scotgov@ScottishEPA @marinescotland stop this industry from using the sea as a sewer?
For the avoidance of any confusion, @gaelforcefusion make plastic fish farm cages on a public beach, without a licence, thus denying reasonable access to the public. @marinescotland say they don't need a licence. See what you think.
@NevisMacdui @gaelforcefusion @marinescotland Yes, very good point. There are some signs saying "Public Footpath" and "To the Beach" but none saying" Danger! Vehicles on beach"
@MalcolmNSGW @gaelforcefusion @marinescotland Good point. There was an occasion a couple of years ago when a couple with a dog and small toddler came down onto the beach from the nearby caravan site, just as their fork lift trundled past! Sadly, I didn't catch it on camera.
