Rhythms in markets, metals, geopolitics & life. Patterns that keep repeating across domains. Looking past coordinated narratives. Signal from the torrent.

[RhythmAndPrice @AndRhythm70890]

Most of what moves markets & geopolitics is wrapped in coordinated stories advancing a preferred view.
Underneath, rhythms and patterns of the ages keep repeating across domains.
I look through PR opacity at timing, metals and remaining signals.
That is the regular work here.

With all the Middle East shipping chokepoint war stuff going on, I thought about this guy and his video.
So here is a chance to revisit what Thomas P Barnett said EIGHTEEN YEARS AGO! See link in next post.

@_ClimateCraze I suppose they want their migratory salmon, eels, etc back. I also suppose that investment in town drainage works might be required. It's easier to justify spending on engineering after a flood ....

[RhythmAndPrice @AndRhythm70890]

Misvalued risk is quite a thing. I suppose our entire system financial is based on difference in value between perceived risk and actual risk. eg insurance fees vs actual risks of bad health, accidents & fires. Costs later of trusting political promises now, etc.

The entire world basically understands that assets will go up forever.

And owning the currency itself is how you slowly get poorer.

That’s the game.

@QuintenFrancois When everyone's in the game the rules change. Or they already have.

Foreign accounts can drive the conversation on American AI policy.

We have the data. Coxon's resignation post from Anthropic received 165M views and sparked a "groundswell of urgency over AI regulation in Congress" (per today's front page WSJ)

Coxon's post reveals some interesting hidden patterns about who is amplifying our political debates online. It drew 76% of its reposts (spreading the news) from foreign countries. The top two were India and Indonesia.

In contrast, when @ParkerThayer, an investigative researcher, posted his own analysis (expressing serious skepticism about the circumstances of the post and alleging that its amplification was coordinated), he got 6.6M views and drew most of its engagement from the U.S., with only 34% from foreign countries, led by Canada and the UK.

Sure, people overseas have a stake in what the U.S. chooses to do on AI. But ultimately it is us Americans who will decide our own public policy. Don't be fooled by what's trending.

A big thank you to @ElonMusk and X for making country of origin visible, which makes analyses like this even possible. Last year's “Great Unmasking" on X was the first time anyone shined a spotlight onto this subject. As much of our political conversation shifts online, it will be increasingly important to understand where engagement is coming from.

Gates Foundation : AI could be a great equalizer, only if it’s built intentionally to benefit the people who need it most. Gates Foundation plans to spend $1 billion over 2 yrs & indicates AI’s trajectory is not fixed. The window to influence who benefits, and how soon, is short.

Anybody noticed how many markets have slow walked towards a breakout or breakdown point as we approach the final month before US Midterm elections? Transparency for analysis of outcomes will trigger the markets 4 weeks before voting, I think.

[Jessica Pin @jess_ann_pin]

The biggest barrier to fertility rates is an antagonistic mating marketplace caused by male sexual double standards.

Brutal female oppression is no longer a tenable hack for incentivizing nuclear family despite antagonistic dynamics.

So the antagonistic dynamics must be eliminated. That's the solution.

When all the politicians & PR mouthpieces (of either side) get wheeled out with the same message, at the same time, you know it's an op. And now, over to @MaajidNawaz

[أبو عمّار @MaajidNawaz]

“But here we are. What we’ve said here is when all the DNC old-guard are on board, you know that this is an Op. Okay, so here you see it. Obama, President Obama, suddenly decided that he needed to tell the nation that Ai needs to be regulated. He says, I was encouraged this week to see the leaders of the Frontier Labs agree on the need for them to slow down the pace of Ai development. Given the stakes, and it’s a good, necessary first step. Didn’t stop with Obama. There’s Hillary Clinton. Again, all coordinated, all at the same time. The cabal has basically even given its script. And then Kamala Harris, she waded in. Look at that. Oh, coordinated. Kamala Harris, the failed presidential candidate who Trump beat. And then, of course, now the Covid doomer propagandists are openly on board with this latest doomer Op. too. Reuters reports, no government in the world is ready for the changes artificial intelligence would bring to society, says none other than Bill Gates. And of course the cabal wouldn’t be complete without one final ingredient. And you couldn’t make it up. And that is Epstein. You can see it there. As Forbes Magazine reports, on the 14th of August this year, 2026, headlined, Who is Cami Clark? Anthropic CEO’s wife asked Epstein to invest in her porn business. That is a true story. Cami Clark, the low profile wife of Anthropic CEO Daria Amodei, tried to court Jeffrey Epstein. As an investor for her luxury porn company and women’s health startup, the Wall Street Journal and emails in the Epstein files reveal. As the Journal’s reporting raises new questions about Clark’s influence over her powerful husband and his company. Oh dear.”

Respect and sympathy to the families of 911 attack victims 25 years ago today. No respect to Philip D. Zelikow, who ran the investigation in an oddly controlled manner for the Bush govt and/or DOJ. If you don't know who Philip Zelikow take a few minutes: https://t.co/URLI9hdsVU

@IsraeliPM For 9/11 to succeed, months of preparation were required. The official narrative had to be crafted, the media prepared, leaks plugged. After the attack, journalists had to be suppressed, investigations strangled in the crib, the official story cemented. Meet PHILIP ZELIKOW.

A part of old East Germany that lived under communism moves towards political centre. Not "Far Right", the centre. As it happens the centre is much farther to the right than Far Left ideologists want. Due to their own behaviour, they are losing their own moderates.
