I just hit $300 MRR after launching my SaaS 2 weeks ago.

Nothing crazy, but it’s my first real signal that something is working.

I didn’t run ads. Didn’t go viral. Didn’t have an audience.

I just focused on one thing: high-intent LinkedIn outreach.

Here’s exactly what worked:

1. Stop cold messaging random people

Cold outreach to completely random users is painful.

Low replies, low conversions.

Instead, I only reach out to people who already showed intent.

The best way I found:

Find posts in your niche (use keywords your ICP would engage with)

Look at people who liked or commented

Reach out to them

These people are already thinking about the problem you solve.

Your conversion rate will be way higher.

2. Post engagers > followers

Most people chase followers.

But someone liking/commenting on a post is WAY more valuable than a passive follower.

They’re active. They care. They’re in-market.

I built my early pipeline just from engaging with these people daily.

3. Don’t pitch immediately

If your first message is a pitch, you’re getting ignored.

What worked better for me:

Start with something contextual (“saw your comment on X”)

Ask a simple question

Turn it into a conversation

Only bring up your product once it naturally fits.

4. Volume still matters (but smarter volume)

I aim for ~20–30 quality conversations per day.

Not 200 spam messages.

This keeps it sustainable and actually converts.

5. Build a simple system

What I’m doing now:

Track keywords in my niche

Find posts daily

Extract engagers

Reach out with personalized messages

Track conversations

It’s repeatable and predictable.

6. Small tweak that helped a lot

Instead of asking:

“Want a demo?”

I ask:

“Curious how you’re currently solving this?”

Way more replies. Way better conversations.

I’m now building SendUp to automate a lot of this (finding post engagers, identifying high-intent leads, and automating the outreach) because doing it manually takes hours.

But honestly, you don’t need a tool to start.
