This is crucial for protecting victims of russia’s aggression and future compensation mechanisms.

At the end of this week, the joint work of the Ukrainian and US delegations will continue to build on the results achieved in Geneva. It is crucial not to lose productivity and to work quickly. Our key shared goal remains unchanged – achieving a lasting and dignified peace for Ukraine ASAP. Just as we did in Geneva, we are now preparing for a constructive dialogue to make tangible progress in defining the steps to end the war. Thanks to the US team for their tireless efforts. Peace must become a shared achievement.

Наприкінці цього тижня продовжиться спільна робота української та американської делегацій для розвитку результату, що був досягнутий у Женеві. Важливо не втрачати продуктивність і працювати швидко. Ключова наша спільна з партнерами мета залишається незмінною – якомога швидше досягнення тривалого та достойного миру для України. Як було в Женеві, так і зараз готуємося до конструктивної розмови, щоб досягти відчутного прогресу у визначенні кроків для закінчення війни. Дякую американській команді за роботу без пауз. As part of the President of Ukraine’s @BringKidsBackUA initiative, three more Ukrainian children have been rescued from the temporarily occupied territories.

A 17-year-old boy had been evacuated earlier, but his 15-year-old brother and 12-year-old sister, together with their parents, remained under occupation. Russian forces threatened the family, interrogated the parents, and forced the children to attend a Russian propaganda school. Now, they are finally safe on the territory controlled by Ukraine.

A 16-year-old boy lived for almost four years under constant surveillance by occupation authorities, who repeatedly came to his home and threatened his family because they refused to send him to a Russian school. Eventually, our partners helped him escape, and today he has been reunited with his loved ones.

I am grateful to the Ukrainian Child Rights Network for their assistance in rescuing these children. We are carrying out the President’s task — to bring every Ukrainian child home.

Як і визначено Президентом @POTUS, уже цього тижня очікуємо пана міністра Сухопутних військ у Києві, і готові продовжити працювати максимально швидко, щоб фіналізувати кроки, необхідні для закінчення кровопролиття. Є хороша основа, зроблена в Женеві, і Президент @ZelenskyyUa та вся команда в Києві повністю налаштовані на подальшу роботу. Україна ніколи не була й не буде перепоною для миру. Ми вдячні Сполученим Штатам за всю підтримку. Зустріч президентів буде підготовлена з нашого боку ґрунтовно й оперативно.

I just spoke with U.S. Army Secretary @SecArmy Daniel Driscoll. Thanks for the focus and constructiveness! As President @POTUS outlined, we expect the Secretary of the Army in Kyiv later this week, and we are ready to continue working as swiftly as possible to finalize the steps necessary to end the bloodshed. We have a solid foundation laid in Geneva, and President @ZelenskyyUa, along with the entire team in Kyiv, are fully committed to further cooperation. Ukraine has never been and will never be an obstacle to peace. We are grateful to the United States for all its support. The meeting of the Presidents will be thoroughly and promptly prepared on our side.

Three more Ukrainian children have been successfully returned from the temporarily occupied territories as part of President of Ukraine’s @BringKidsBackUA initiative.

A 15-year-old boy and his 13-year-old sister endured constant searches, threats, and shelling. When Russian forces began regularly attacking their village with cluster munitions, one of the bomblets struck their home. Fortunately, the family survived.

A 14-year-old boy had lived with relatives for three years and had not seen his mother during that time. He continued studying online at a Ukrainian school. When the occupation authorities began checking children who did not attend Russian schools, there was a real threat that he would be taken away from his family.

I am grateful to the Joint Center of the Security Service of Ukraine for Coordinating the Search and Release of Prisoners of War and Persons Illegally Deprived of Liberty as a Result of Russia’s Armed Aggression for their work in rescuing these children.

We are fulfilling the President’s task — to bring every Ukrainian child home.

As part of President of Ukraine’s @BringKidsBackUA initiative, another young person has been rescued.

A 22-year-old man spent more than three years under Russian occupation, living in constant fear of forced mobilization. He dreamed of reuniting with his parents, who remained in government-controlled Ukraine, but attempting to cross numerous Russian checkpoints on his own was far too dangerous. Thanks to the efforts of specialists from the Ukrainian Child Rights Network and the volunteer initiative Humanity, he is now safely back in free Ukraine and receiving the necessary support and assistance.

We are fulfilling the President’s task — to bring every Ukrainian child home.

🇺🇦🇺🇸 The first session of talks with the American delegation in Geneva has just concluded.
I want to confirm that we had a very productive first session with the distinguished American delegation. We have made very good progress and are moving forward to a just and lasting peace.
The Ukrainian people deserve and want this peace more than anyone.
We sincerely thank our great friends — the United States, personally President @POTUS and his team — for their commitment to bring peace.
Very soon today the second meeting will take place, where we will continue to work on joint proposals with the engagement of our European partners.
Final decisions will be taken by our Presidents.

Хочу підтвердити: ми провели дуже продуктивну першу зустріч із шановною американською делегацією. Досягли дуже доброго прогресу й рухаємося вперед до справедливого та тривалого миру.
Український народ як ніхто заслуговує на цей мир і прагне його.
Щиро дякуємо нашим великим друзям — Сполученим Штатам, особисто Президенту @POTUS та його команді — за відданість справі миру.
Незабаром сьогодні відбудеться друга зустріч, на якій ми продовжимо працювати над спільними пропозиціями із залученням наших європейських партнерів.

Українська делегація, призначена Президентом @ZelenskyyUa, розпочала роботу в Женеві.
Провів першу зустріч з радниками з питань національної безпеки лідерів Великої Британії, Франції та Німеччини: Джонатаном Пауеллом, Еммануелем Бонном, Гюнтером Зауттером.
Наступна зустріч – із делегацією США. Налаштовані дуже конструктивно.
Загалом сьогодні передбачено низку зустрічей у різних форматах. Продовжуємо працювати разом для досягнення сталого і справедливого миру для України.

The Ukrainian delegation, appointed by President @ZelenskyyUa, has begun its work in Geneva.
Held the first meeting with the national security advisors of the leaders of the United Kingdom, France, and Germany: Jonathan Powell, Emmanuel Bonne, and Günther Sauter.
The next meeting is with the U.S. delegation. We are in a very constructive mood.
Overall, a series of meetings in various formats is planned for today. We continue working together to achieve a lasting and just peace for Ukraine.
