Just bought my 3rd electric vehicle and I have to say @Chevrolet has got to do better with their app. Ford did great with theirs. Polestar eventually figured it out. But years in to it the myChevrolet app is BAD. What does $15/month actually get me that Apple CarPlay won’t do?
@SciInTheMaking Worse; I record my lessons, with video, and post them to Google classroom. Only a few take advantage of that so they still come in confused the next day.
There is this attitude of “oh, I was out that day“ as if they are not responsible for having to learn what they missed.
@SciInTheMaking This is especially true in a math classroom, and worse to higher you get in rigor. Math builds on itself more than any other subject. Even coming in a few minutes late I might as well be speaking martian.
@educator4ever36 A compromise; a Spotify playlist for each period. Each student adds 1 to 3 songs depending upon class size. I screen them to make sure no explicit or bad message songs get added. We change it quarterly. It’s a great lesson in tolerance and I have found new music for myself!
@ChrisExpTheNews HS math teacher here. @ChrisExpTheNews nailed it! And it’s much worse post-pandemic. Teaching has become almost entirely classroom management versus content.
@Lady_FanAccount The fact that so many people are picking different songs is a testament to how great this entire album is. This is my comfort album. However I’m feeling, I can just listen to it without skipping a track. If I have to choose I’d say In God‘s Country.
@ArrowheadPride SoCalChoef here: I believe in best player available versus drafting for need. That said, I really don’t want to see a running back or wide receiver in the first or second rounds. What other positions might do both BPA and need?
@ArrowheadPride Steve Spagnolo covers up more issues than we know of on defense, so if he leaves at the end of this season, it will take a tremendous amount of off-season resources to maintain our current defense level of play.
@ArrowheadPride After reading the comments so far, I have to agree with the Butker concern. We’ve had way too many close games not to worry about him at least a little.
I don’t like @TomBrady, BUT, I like him as an analyst. He sees things others don’t; “That was a no-laces pass” and “ if he had thrown it a fraction of a second earlier“. I like it. He sees the game VERY well and it shows in his analysis.
@clownworld The mom knows a process. The child is showing understanding conceptually. I’m actually impressed that he can explain it so well. This is a misunderstanding of how math is taught today. It seems convoluted but the goal is to understand the concept rather than reproduce a process.
