Let them reclaim the urban cores of Detroit and such and go for it. It'll take aggressive policing that would make Giuliani blush, but it could be done.

@JesseBurkhart7 @UrbanCourtyard And @JesseBurkhart7, you are absolutely correct in pointing out the unnaturalness of this architecture. Suburban sameness/anonymity/isolation is psychologically oppressive. But it's a far easier problem to handle than the aggressive nastiness of urban populations.

When people talk about "privacy" or "peace and quiet" what they are fundamentally asking for is to put a buffer between their homes and society at large. Which is an implicitly negative commentary on society.

The good the Church does combating leftism, mostly in education and moral formation, gets ignored.

@UrbanCourtyard @AllanRicharz Sure, but anyone who wants to get to you will have to cross that same distance, drive through a limited number of access points, and navigate a maze with lots of long sight lines and choke points. Then to even just approach your house they'll have to cross open ground.
