also, the golden wattle flag is sooo beautiful! it reps our national colours, and has the symbol of the national flower it makes it SO clear what the colors represent! the star of the southern cross is still depicted too it’s just the most perfect flag redesign ever 🥹

how many times do I have to say that ‘filo’ is a term/slang that aussies and kiwis use to refer to filipinos!!!!!!! slang here is very short so the filipino diaspora in aus/nz tend to call ourselves this too bc we obviously adapted to how locals speak PLEASE 😭

@rubibiiii It’s Aussie/Kiwi slang. I’m Filipino-Australian and that’s literally how Aussies refer to us since that’s how Aus slang works, and also how we refer to ourselves here too 🤷🏻 kind of a nothingburger to hate. over here that’s just how people speak.
