@MillerandCarter feeling a bit hard done by, told waitress I've given up chips for Lent and asked for alternative (e.g. jacket pot), she said I could have sweet pot fries for extra £... hubby on separare table was offered a jacket pot with his meal!!!

I don’t think people actually realise how tough it is having a stammer. The smallest of things are so difficult for us. Nice to see stammering has come a long way on from myself being on Educating Yorkshire #schoolforstammerers
