Then why not just take it as a joke and let it be? This is how a good show loses its core, in the sense that they can’t make a joke.
Yes, I don’t know you, and things one sees who doesn’t follow you obviously will take things at face/post value, and will never take time to know you or go through your posts.
You seem like a good person, and you don’t need my stamp for that. But just remember you are adding to the debate with the post.

It has been a comedy, feel-good show about hope, agree or don’t, it really doesn’t matter to me. It’s normal to relate to what one is going through in life or has been through and judge it in that lens, there’s nothing wrong with that - it’s normal - but your ignorance of his joke that Ted might have taken it AS a joke and ignored is ignorance. I’ve been watching since S1:E1 and my takeaways have always been positive. It might depend on people and mindset again- I am a positive person in general unless I see rage bait posts (not you; I see you do like Ted Lasso).

But just highlighting one negative side with what you have issues with, 99.3% good things, just isn’t the answer. You are just participating in one X trending topic that says “people are divided” in that case.
