@icyzxxx@seattleiminyou@HeatherRasley You and every other moron with £50 to give companies house has a business. If you were running an actual company you'd understand that communicating displeasure and signalling they wouldn't be considered again in future for leaving you in the lurch is completely normal.
@seattleiminyou@HeatherRasley The standard is to withdraw from other processes upon signing a new contract. I'm not saying that taking a permanent offer over a temp one after signing is morally wrong or anything, just that they're justified in thinking your conduct wasn't professional.
@seattleiminyou@HeatherRasley They stopped short of calling you unprofessional, which isn't unwarranted depending on how far along the onboarding process you were. Verbal acceptance not too bad, if you signed the contract it's a fair email.
It can be the correct move for you and still be unprofessional too.
@JPEGMacDonald@questionableway This will literally never happen, and honestly I don't think it should. People are held to standards when their actions impact others, the responsibility is on you to meet them. Figure out ways to make it work.
@JPEGMacDonald@questionableway You're making us look bad. I am not suited to regularly keeping up with small tasks, I don't get to check out of being a functional adult entirely. It takes work you people seem unwilling to do.
@archie0x If you're a genuinely good fit, submit your resume and try to find the person responsible. Some people click the setting that lists the actual job poster on LI. Otherwise, you can reach out to TAs via email etc.
@chkensammich@Antiochian_Rum@escapefrommelos Untrue, texture is even more of a focus in many asian countries, some foods are eaten basically for texture alone, cartilage, yuba (quite expensive, the skin formed from the process of making soymilk). They're also enjoy textures westerners hate, natto, yama-imos snottiness
@donnyjkimball@bunburyoudoujp I don't think he's doing himself any favours doing the influencer thing either. Lots of companies would take issue with it.
