@CaveStoryRap Can I have permission to mirror these on https://t.co/MWHppBN5sV? I'm kinda hoping to make a dedicated page on the site (complete with attribution and lyrics of course).
@SmitterHane@tsoding JS is not to blame. JS frameworks are to blame. How much of that massive js file that is slowing down your site are you actually using? This is a cultural issue. The web would be so much better if people actually bothered to learn and use vanilla js.
@HowardL3@vaxryy@awesomekling All 3 of the things I noted are just mapping an existing number, one that strftime can already output, to a string. I cannot think of a single reason why this wouldn't be both lightweight and trivial to implement.
@vaxryy@awesomekling Honestly... sqlite lacks any simple way to get the name of the day of the week, or the name of the month, or the day number suffix (st/nd/rd/th). Yes, there are no bugs, but sqlite's date handling feels unfinished.
@tsoding More like:
"You know that code you were writing yesterday? Well, here is the part of the code you were in the middle of writing when you clocked off."
I don't even have to write anything of value; Just "// TODO: Finish." is what I write generally.
@cmuratori IPv6 rollout is fully underway for end users. Over half of all people browse the internet with an IPv6 address, and I'd expect that number to rise as old modems are replaced. It is everything else where adoption is shit, such as ip addresses for web servers.
@blameitonjorge So I take it that the original uncut VHS recording of In Search of Spring by Daisuke Amaya was found by a former Athena employee and released on the internet?
@TheOneRealPK @cmuratori Probably because the command prompt uses / for command line options (eg "ipconfig /flushdns"), and making / the default path separator would probably break shit. That said... Windows Explorer and file browsing dialogs do auto-convert / into \ in paths.
