Today marks the beginning of Black History Month - we should all remember to recognize the history, achievements, and contributions of the Black community all year round - it is an important part of our shared history.
Fifty years ago today, the U.S. Supreme Court decided Roe v. Wade. Last year, that court made it clear when it overturned Roe v. Wade that rights like reproductive healthcare, and possibly others, will be determined at the state level.

For a decade, I’ve dedicated my professional life to needs and rights and of Allegheny County citizens. I do the same thing as a judge and look forward to continuing that service with support of the people I’ve served.
