This is why conducting #CECdraws at this time maybe a super duper idea.
1️⃣ This works within the agenda of sorting the housing crisis. Most of CECs are inside Canada and hence will not be adding to the current housing market burden.
If this principle could work during covid to the benefit of IRCC, then why not now?
2️⃣CECs have already gained Canadian work experience and hence offer invaluable support to the Canadian employers and job market.
3️⃣Look at the pool breakdown, "most" 500+ are either Francophones, Canadian educated and or with Canadian work experience. Hence conducting #CEC draws will largely clear out the 500+ pool.
4️⃣People were sold the idea of PR pathway by studying and working in Canada. @MarcMillerVM does not have to endorse or support this idea, but no one can deny the high skill factor points of candidates who have crossed 500 CRS.
I agree, that a few not so qualified/skilled candidates may also get thru with #CECdraws.
We haven't forgotten the 75 CRS draw of February 2021. That's on you @SeanFraserMP.
But overall, Express Entry and Canadian markets will benefit from #CEC draws at this point, while category based EE draws will continue to include all programs.
This can be a great win-win. 🤝🏼🤝🏼

1. Everything is temporary
We are not on earth eternally. We are just passengers until our time is up.
Your possessions, job, and relationships will one day be a distant memory.
This is why you should live a meaningful life. At some point, you will be gone and forgotten.
PGWP Extension !
We are extending the ability to work for PGWP holders, including those whose work permits have recently expired.
As of April 6, if your PGWP is valid or has recently expired you can apply to extend your ability to work in Canada by up to 18 months.
Starting April 6 2023, international graduates with a post-graduation work permit (PGWP) expiring in 2023 will qualify for an extended work permit to stay in Canada for up to 18 months longer: https://t.co/0Bny4SQbLH
It just seems so outdated and obtuse for the LMIA/LMIA exempt O of E when someone has been working full time for a long period of time. They’ve proven themselves to the employer. Seems counterintuitive that work permits can expire while they are working.
Why doesn’t Canada allow work permit extensions for those who are working full-time on Open or PGWP? What is the logic behind forcing a contributing member of society out of the country? They’re working FT, paying taxes, growing our economy, supporting Canadian businesses.
While on her quest to find a LMIA supported Job offer, she says “Regardless of my skills and talents, I was unable to secure a Job to support me with a LMIA, why? because they are not actually there to fill the job vacancies”

@mattlundy33@sys14793 There are thousands of us being forced to quit jobs as our PGWPs is expiring and no Express Entry draws are happening, as a result our health card is expiring as well. Either we go for LMIA which will cost thousands of dollars or we have go back! @SeanFraserMP
Pattern of draws reflects that of someone with no vision and direction, and no considerations for TR’s working in Canada. Why mess with it? It was working…
One day, we temporary residents will have voting rights.
We won’t forget this brutality, torture and the emotional trauma that has been given to us.
Extend PGWP, resume CEC draws. Stop playing with our lives! @SeanFraserMP@JustinTrudeau@liberal_party

@SeanFraserMP as you acknowledged, 1000s of PGWP holders are stuck in a limbo while CRS scores are temporarily inflated. Many are loosing status everyday due to these delays on IRCC’s end. When are you making an Official announcement?
#extendPGWP2023#cdnimm
@SeanFraserMP while the CRS scores are temporarily inflated, people in the standard CRS score range (460-480) are loosing status.
You told us you are working on solutions, when is the announcement coming?
