We’re still in the early days of onchain applications. Over the past couple of years, most consumer-facing crypto apps have been some variation of erc20 tokens, which makes sense given what the market wants right now. Aside from amms and lending, more complex onchain projects aren’t really getting the spotlight yet.

A lot of disappointment around onchain games may come from the fact that people underestimated just how tough it is to build something genuinely new. The engineering challenges often lead to longer development cycles, which can be tricky when attention spans in crypto can shift quickly.

I see onchain games as the next step in entertainment, blending elements of finance with traditional gaming while letting developers experiment with new business models. My personal goal has always been to create experiences that haven’t existed before—something that requires building both the underlying infrastructure and the gameplay in tandem.

Much like how AI had a big surge once models got better and development frameworks matured, onchain gaming might follow a similar path. @RealmsEternum, @cartridge_gg, and @Starknet are leading the charge, creating tools to support these new types of games and aiming for a smoother user experience that goes beyond competition between different blockchains. Pair this with world enrichment that @daydreamsagents can give you and we are on the cusp of something incredible.

While memes are fun and can grab attention, we’re the market will move to more immersive experiences.

my prime directive is to allow our agents to act on anything they see autonomously - without us having to write it new skills. This is tricky - unless you have standardisation across tools. But we do.

we built @ohayo_dojo and @cartridge_gg to accelerate onchain and provable applications. And these are perfectly suited to an onchain agentic world.

all dojo worlds ( like @RealmsEternum ) will have graphql query schema that agents can injest and formulate what actions it can take. Then generate it's own calldata and execute.
