It is common for improvement or transformation plans to use the language of "driving" change through the organisation or system. If we want large-scale, sustainable change, we need to grow it, not drive it. Graphic via @MilFamLN #100RepeatTweets no.52 #Quality2021
Before scaling design influence across the organization, it’s important to first establish a general shared understanding of the design team’s work and successes.

#nngux Amen @katewkaplan !! I often see demand/temptation to prototype every screen in hi-fi. I prefer a “T-Shaped” approach - show breadth, and then drill into one flow in detail, or break “wide” and “deep” our into separate prototypes .... anything else gets *really* complex!
For many products and services, we can’t pick a set of metrics at the outset and say, “Ok, that’s how we’ll always measure success.” If we do that, we’ll lock ourselves into a simplified notion of success.

#nngux London - Day 4 - Measuring UX and ROI with @kate__moran. So far I’ve been a tiger, and learned (not surprisingly) that we’re not doing enough measuring !!!
#nngux London 2019 - DesignOps - some selected Designer to Developer ratios and how they’ve changed over the past 7 years. Fair to say 1:8 seems to be the norm. Would love that!!!
#nngux London - Day 2 - Scaling UX Design and User Research. Judging by the materials on the table, I’m thinking this session will be right up my street. Can’t wait!!
