West Yorkshire Police release a statement after an LGBTQI+ lesbian police officer ordered 7 officers to drag and arrest a severely autistic child from of her house for calling the officer a ‘lesbian nana.’

The 16 year old girl was arrested for a ‘homophobic public order offense.’

In a Twitter statement the police force said they have “reviewed the evidence and made the decision to take no further action.”

“We do appreciate the understandable sensitivities around incidents involving young people and neurodiversity and we are genuinely committed to developing how we respond to these often very challenging situations.”
