Spending the last year within the Children's Oncology Unit in Leeds has been a lesson in heartbreaking resilience. To see children with cancer, all smiling, laughing and playing whilst enduring the brutal toxicity of chemotherapy. Each and every time I swallow down my tears whilst it tears apart my soul. Eighteen months have passed, yet I still haven't got used to it. I refuse to get used to it; no child should ever have to be here.
