You are so hung up on back in the day you don’t realize these cars don’t breakdown and tires don’t fail as often as back in the day. A race could go caution free more often. It would not be a good thing

@ChampagneRacin People arguing about stage racing have never been to a Coca-Cola 600. These new cars don’t breakdown and have cautions. These stages give guys a chance to get better and bunches the guys back up which makes for excitment. They do need to speed up the breaks no doubt.

@thewheelnman @ChampagneRacin Could you imagine if 75% of these races didn’t have stages? It would be the longest boring race ever. N Wilkes would have had 2 guys on the lead lap. People living in the past don’t realize these cars don’t breakdown and have cautions due to tire issues. Give me a break
