Into the last 36 hours of the window. How many will we ACTUALLY sign by the end of this window? I think 4.

@GiuliaBould What does he think of Liverpool? Using an 18-year-old on the wing?

Everton for sale. Famous club, huge fanbase, great stadium, some fine players & an outstanding manager. Attractive proposition. Christian Purslow and I discuss the sale in depth and whether The Friedkin Group gets the £1bn+ it wants @FootyBoardroom #EFC

@Pezzer1878 I haven't heard anything re Brian but have sent the renewal money just to see iif that sparked a response.

[Andy H 🇬🇧 🇺🇦 @andy_heron]

I wonder if they will go for Richy now? You have to say that AK and Co have truly conspired to get the entire fanbase baying for their resignations at this time.

When someone tells me this week we have got Spurs next and they haven’t scored a goal yet or won a game.

@GiuliaBould Eagerly awaited press conference today, probably more interested in what is not said than what is said.

[Andy H 🇬🇧 🇺🇦 @andy_heron]

@GiuliaBould ......."at this stage"......but it will be likely, I would hazard a guess.

[Andy H 🇬🇧 🇺🇦 @andy_heron]

If, & it is an if, the stability of the club has been secured & we have a fantastic stadium as an asset & TFG now want to $$ in, then as long as we get the right new owners I don't have any issue with what they have done for us. The window was horrible but there will be a reason

[Henry Winter @henrywinter]

At the very least, Everton owe their frustrated fans some form of explanation for that chaotic, embarrassing and deeply disappointing transfer window. Yes, Jack’s back and Maitland-Niles is in (and earlier Hackney+). But The Friedkin Group, the club’s CEO Angus Kinnear and the recruitment committee owe it to fans - the lifeblood of the club - to justify/clarify/apologise for a situation which saw Balogun not sign, a star like Ndiaye leave, Beto go, Armstrong almost sold, and failed late attempts for Kirkzee, Abraham and Tete (nb also reluctance from their clubs).

Were they hoping for the Armstrong money to get players in? Or was it simply poor organisation, leaving things late? Everton look incredibly short of quality and numbers in attack and at full-back. So much to admire about Everton - manager, fanbase, stadium, academy, players like Pickford, Branthwaite, Garner, Dewsbury-Hall, Armstrong etc. But that was a poorly-handled transfer window and Everton fans have every right to be frustrated. #EFC

When someone says to me, Everton will fuck the transfer window up again:

[Andy H 🇬🇧 🇺🇦 @andy_heron]

@ALANMYERSMEDIA A damp squib of an announcement Alan too be fair and that is the tragedy of this window. Fans will be venting serious anger come Sunday.

[Andy H 🇬🇧 🇺🇦 @andy_heron]

@ALANMYERSMEDIA HI Alan, when are you able to interview Angus Kinnear on this window?

[Andy H 🇬🇧 🇺🇦 @andy_heron]

@EvertonNewsFeed @JacobsBen and he would be unavailable for the next game! If we pay 150% of his wages, the deal will go through and I wouldn't be surprised if AK misreads the deal.
