We’re a day late, but these words from Andy among other letters are showing that while he is not free, he hasn’t lost touch with the free world, unlike his time in China. They can jail us, but not the soul.
As the legal proceedings in #HongKong has begun, please note that we would not be providing responses to questions related to Andy for the time being. Thank you for your understanding.
Finally!
Thanks to your continued attention, they know they can't just lock him away and we are receiving communication from Andy.
More to follow as we digest the information.
Since his return on 22 Mar, Andy has disappeared once again. He was seen in a police station before the court mention on 24 Mar which he wasn't present at, after which it was reported he would be remanded. Yet, CSD denied upon enquiry that Andy was with them.
Where is Andy?
This is an appalling treatment of Andy Li! He should be released immediately!
Andy does not belong in the psychiatric hospital, but those who put him there do!
Outrageous that Hong Kong activist Andy Li has reportedly been held in solitary confinement at a psychiatric hospital after being charged under Beijing's draconian national security law. The CCP will stop at nothing to silence those who speak out against its abuses. #FreeAndyLi
Andy is still missing despite being transferred back to HK.
It’s the 4th day since we last heard from him and we were told that Andy was not at any CSD premises, the place where he should be remanded at according to the Court.
Are the police still holding onto Andy secretly?

Where is Andy?
Andy Li is not present at the first mention today, as he’s under compulsory quarantine and remanded in custody. Defence lawyer is not present at the hearing today so we are not sure whether he will have a legal representative. The case is adjourned to March 31st 9:30am.
The first charge is absurd as the date of offence includes his days in Shenzhen Detention Centre - till 2021 Feb 15.
It was beyond imagination how Andy could conspire with Jimmy Lai, Mark Simon, Chan Tsz-Wah, @finnlau_cd and others when he’s in locked in Shenzhen.
#BREAKING Andy Li, one of the #12HKyouths is charged of
- conspiracy colluding with foreign forces from 2020/7 till 2021/2/15
- conspiracy to assist offender, aka himself, with others inc. Chan Tsz-Wah, Jimmy Lai and others to flee Taiwan

8 of the Hong Kong 12 (2 sent back already) would be out of detention in Shenzhen and moved back to Hong Kong next Monday, including Andy Li @beatriceyyli

One week left until the supposed release of Andy and 7 other of #12HKyouths detained in China after closed door trials. At their return to #HongKong which is ever more controlled by #CCP and their lapdogs, they will be going through the same ordeal again, this time for years.
It's been 192days since the 12 #Youths were arrested & detained by #CCP. 2 teenagers hv come back to #HK but detained in jail. 8 of them including #AndyLi will be deported from #China & send back to #HongKong. Some of them will face trials in 2023.

It's 6 months since @andy_is_missing. One more month to go until Andy returns to Hong Kong with other 7 of the #12hkyouths. But then, at the end, it's just an escape from one cage to another.

@alvinllum If they are really feeling guilty, why don't just let the families and diplomats to attend the hearing, so as to convince all people they are not forced to make such claims?
Likely they have been tortured and with injuries that can't be covered up
"We have to remember that they were locked up in China cut off from the world, their families and lawyers of their choosing for four months before attending a mock trial where only CCP-approved players were allowed in," said @beatriceyyli, the sister of Andy Li.
Only a handful of officials and journalists handpicked by CCP were allowed in. The court also claimed relatives of #12HKers were present, identities of whom none of us in #HongKong knows. Coordinates, lawyers, relatives. What's next they're pulling out of the hat? #save12HKyouths
#UPDATE Families of the #12HKers called Yantian court at 5.30pm and a staff said the “open trial” was still going on, and families had to check the court’s website for trial results.
