She had a solid hit out at home the other day and looks in great shape. We're expecting her to be right there, fighting out the finish.

Your 3-year-old filly Doc’s Love climbs in class tonight, and she won’t be getting any favours from the opposition. It’s an experienced field, stacked with quality, we’re talking mares who’ve competed in Open company and even one who’s knocked off the Juggette winner in a Pennsylvania All Stars.

This is proper company!

Most of the field has genuine gate speed, so the early burn from the mobile should make for a fascinating race map. Doc’s Love should be able to slide across and land midfield, or just off it, which is exactly the sort of spot she can build into the race from.

Can she win this? Absolutely. Her first up victory for the stable said plenty, and her two runs after show she’s right in this with the right trip.

The main danger looks to be My Sweet Lily, though she’s hampered by that tricky post #8 draw. She beat Rodeo Drive Deo back in May before injury stopped her for five months. She’s now third up and likely to spear forward as the early leader.

All things considered, we’re excited to see Doc’s Love take on the mares. She looks a great top three chance and, with the right map, she’s got a sneaky shot of winning.

🏇 DOC'S LOVE - A HUGE FIRST-UP VICTORY

Doc’s Love announced her return in spectacular fashion last night, delivering a powerful and polished win first-up in a Non-Winners of $10,971 in Their Last 5. It was a performance full of purpose, class, and maturity well beyond her years.

Settling beautifully in fourth through the early stages, our filly travelled like a winner a long way from home. When the field rolled down the back the second time, she eased out, cruised up to the leader, and parked with confidence. Turning for home, she was simply asked, and she delivered, stretching out strongly, taking control, and drawing clear late to score in 1:55, closing in a sharp 28.1.

And make no mistake, this was no ordinary field. She took on quality rivals: talented three-year-olds who’ve mixed it with the best fillies in the country (and beaten some of them), plus seasoned Open Handicap performers who’ve held their own at major tracks.

To step up first up and put them away the way she did is a serious sign of what’s to come.

This was a statement win, the kind that tells you we’re in for a thrilling ride as she heads into her four-year-old season.

Congratulations on a brilliant performance and an ever improving Doc’s Love. Big things ahead!

LOCHLAN HANOVER returns to the track this Tuesday following a very strong first-up performance, where he finished a close 2nd behind a classy type.

He’s drawn perfectly in post position #4, which should allow him to settle comfortably around midfield before making his move.

Tyler Buter jumps into the sulky with Matt Kakaley committed elsewhere. Tyler is no stranger to success with the stable, having recently guided Nymeria and Kinda Lucky Lindy to victory, and he’ll be looking to do the same here.

If LOCHLAN takes the natural improvement from last week’s run, we’re confident he’s a genuine top-three contender and capable of going one better.
