@svgenthusiast @racinfarmer I used to feel the same way abt the iracing camera view watching videos of gameplay looked horrible with the limited perspective but honestly, when you get a proper setup and adjust your fov correctly, it feels pretty natural especially w 3 monitors or vr

@Kimaris51 His explanation is interesting b/c I always thought it was the opposite. The oreilly and older cup cars could be driven off the right rear due to the higher sideforce vs. the next gen which cannot be hung out since it wants to spin if not linear and generating diffuser downforce

@KellyCrandall Dont know how real drivers think but at least on iRacing I'll always try and give the spot back if I made a mistake and made unnessecary contact, especially if it is a 1v1 and there is no cars close behind ready to pass you.

@KellieBlundell As a driver u no longer can lean on the right rear and yaw the car to generate rotation it’s all about keeping the car linear (Kyle loves driving off the RR)

I don’t think KB is washed but being good in a traditional stock car/truck does not translate directly to next gen speed

But the actual performance of the RB19 is likely worse on avg vs the W11 b/c of the more limited ground effect regulations.

@BrakeHardBlog SVG’s skill has been reduced to only suiting road courses but in reality good driving technique and feel will eventually start to translate to more tracks. I think one of his biggest strengths is rotating the car super precise under braking and that is huge at Indy

@mercsogyny @the_zb_ a wide arc smooth driver would spread out the car's rotation more evenly. This puts more lateral load on the tire throughout the entire turn while the car is going at a faster speed.

@mercsogyny @the_zb_ w/ lewis's driving style, he's asking the car to do more of its rotating when the car has slowed down (closer to the apex), concentrating (let's say 70 deg of rotation) at the apex where speeds are lower.
