@Cumbriapolice one of your cars nearly took me out as they overtook several cars on a blind bend on the A595. I had no warning because of the bend. There's enough dangerous driving on the A595 it is without the police joining in. Blue lights don't justify that driving.

@Dr_Done_ @LancasterUni So much elitism in this thread. There's a lot wrong with medical and other HCP training, and the health service in general. But this kind of snobbery with seemingly little detail is just divisive. Drs, qualified or trainee, are not the better of everyone else.

@VSTMMJJ @thomasdolphin The problem is many people still put Drs on a pedestal. No single group is to blame for that, but it's often patients themselves, and frankly a few Drs. Drs can still be seen as 'the best' that other professions compete with for legitimacy.

@cathjw @thomasdolphin Why assume that? People use the term Dr regularly without being a medical Dr. It's unfortunate in this context and I agree inappropriate (I dislike Dietitians with PhDs calling themselves Dr), but why assume they're trying to be misleading over just choosing a legit title?
