Andy Bates

Yes, THE Andy Bates!

[Andy Bates @andybates]

@Chrissie_Zullo Hello Chrissie! Will your sketchbook be available afterwards to buy online?

[Andy Bates @andybates]

@RoccocoCctv @dieworkwear You seem confused about how wealth works. Or anything, really.

[Andy Bates @andybates]

@mparkinb Amazing and beautiful! A wonderful gift for an incredible person!

[Andy Bates @andybates]

@meepyinde I said that Bear should go up to people and say, “Hey, I wanted to tell you.… Um, never mind.” Or he could go up to women and say, “JUST BE NORMAL!!!”

[Andy Bates @andybates]

@Lasership84 @DaveRapoza Oh that’s mine! Thanks, I was wondering where that went.

[Andy Bates @andybates]

@cheo_coker Man, so much respect for you!!!!

[Andy Bates @andybates]

@cheo_coker Bobby Fish is such a great character! It was always amazing to see him onscreen.

[Andy Bates @andybates]

@jowrotethis I know we’re only met once, and you have no reason to come down to Morgan Hill to see my show. But if you think about it, don’t you also have no reason NOT to come see it…?? https://t.co/vMLI9pHshT

@ElaineinNH @HadrianHarker @KlasfeldReports Only cowards who know they're wrong reply and then block the person they're replying to.

[Andy Bates @andybates]

@rodneyimages @LirhyaPetitPain I still use it daily! And you’re in good company!

[Andy Bates @andybates]

@ILMVFX @ChineseTheatres @starwars @themandalorian My favorite piece of trivia about Star Wars is that it opened at Mann’s Chinese Theater on May 25, 1977, but was pulled a few weeks later for Sorcerer, which was expected to be the more popular film. Once Star Wars took off, it became the only movie to open at Mann’s twice.

[Andy Bates @andybates]

@ShadeX6 @CoolComicArt Okay I have a style question: This style looks somewhat different from things you’ve posted recently, like your daily sketches. Is this because it’s a finished cover versus a sketch? Is it because of Townsend inking? Just your style progressing over the years?

[Andy Bates @andybates]

@vincentdonofrio @declanshalvey Vincent, my favorite thing about Daredevil is how much you love playing Kingpin. Have a wonderful day with the ones you love!

[Andy Bates @andybates]

@pastormarkburns If you have to spend 450 words explaining how you’re not worshipping an idol, then you’re worshipping an idol.

[Andy Bates @andybates]

@JamesGunn I’ll be that guy: The correct spelling in this case is “Foreword”, which is the introductory portion of a book. “Forward” would also be incorrect, as is the current “Foreward”.

[Andy Bates @andybates]

@kypkanden @OocTobeyM Some of us are familiar with these people whose artwork has been featured in countless books and interviews.

[Andy Bates @andybates]

@andyparkart @QIrfan2020 You signed my iPad at Lightbox Expo! Truly amazing work and I am constantly in awe. I’m excited to see what you have coming next!

[Andy Bates @andybates]

@theartbookguy @karma_thief All the people who signed my iPad are being let go. This is depressing.

[Andy Bates @andybates]

@vincentdonofrio I absolutely love how long you’ve fought for the character of Kingpin! Thank you for never giving up hope.
