A social entrepreneur involved with Community Transport projects over the last 20 plus years. Chairman of CT4N Charitable Trust and a former Trustee of the CTA
Community Transport is not a luxury, it's essential. Without this service, daycare facilities would be forced to close ending a lifeline to so many people who rely on it for a better quality of life. 250,000 trips, to GPs, to hospital appointments and day care would simply stop.

#TacklingLoneliness with CT - message from one of our project partners @AgeUKTrafford
"On this week’s trip one of our staff said she saw the whole group getting off the bus all linking arms and walking off together. So good to see the purpose of the activity working so well." ❤
The #CommunityTransport sector is such a vibrant, thriving, positive sector because of the dedicated people who make it what it is, including all the fantastic volunteers who act as trustees.
#TrusteesWeek2022 is a great opportunity to celebrate their contribution. @TrusteesWeek
@wisewoodarmoury My wife died in 2015 after a 5 year struggle with a brain tumour. It's a terrible shock when it happens even if you knew it was coming. You need to take as long as you need to mourn her loss and take one day st a time. Don't set the bar too high it can take a year to feel better
@iancombo @RenewalTrust @Ct4nTrust Nice work Ian, the voluntary group driver really saves money for community organisations as a paid driver is the bulk of the cost to them. Its how CT came about, a real cornerstone of a proper CT schemes offering to the community.
