@NoThirdMan Hard not to feel like cricket pathways are losing their way. Too often it looks like players from a coaches own club, and even their own kids, get the nod ahead of others who’ve actually earned it. Selections feel more about connections rather than performances.

We need to reflect on how sport is actually run. Trickle Down Sport - like Trickle Down economics - does not work. Sports all over the world keep pursuing this failed model of delivering sport - and it just doesn't work.

Start with grass-roots and build from there: a rising tide lifts all the boats.
