At one stage I'd be watching 3-4 VFL games a week & many times they'd be commentary around lack of opportunity. People would site possession stats but real analysis is what role did they play & what game sense do they show at VFL. #afl

Supporters massively over-rate impact of team selection on performance. Rarely does the last couple of players picked end up being a significant factor in team performance. #afl
