What a bloke. You get so used to the madness on here that you almost forget. Then you hear him speak and it’s a reminder we are in the safest possible hands.

We might start slow this season as his teams often do and this pre-season has been far from ideal. But he never panics and we always turn the corner. We have 22 days to strengthen the squad and get the Isak situation sorted one way or another.

In the meantime it’s on us to back the manager and the players who want to be here. August 25th is the perfect moment to show what support in the real world looks like, not this endless back and forth with people queuing up to take the piss.
