I was moderating a panel this week when their head of IT said, “Life is too short to work at a job you don’t love.”
I agree, and I’d add: life is also too long to spend without passion for your daily life. Our lives are too full of potential joy to go through half-hearted.
Ever get a compliment that makes you tilt your head?
“Great speech. You were funny, especially for a Ph.D.”
“And you were a great audience, especially for financial advisors.” We both cracked up.
Tag a friend who uses gentle ribbing is say, “You’re one of us.”
Are you or someone you know involved in planning a customer or user conference? DM me. I'd love to share what I've seen create exceptional results.
These events can be great... if they don't feel like a continuous sales pitch.
Do you wonder why you do not accomplish more of your goals?
Here’s a simple shift you can apply immediately:

#Resilience
The World Economic Forum just released their 2025 Future of Jobs report.
Employers rank resilience is the second most important job skill for 2025. Ranked even higher than leadership.
How are you preparing your people to be resilient?
A long time friend asked what I speak about. I was surprised he didn't know. So, maybe I should share here too. I use mental resiliency/performance psychology to help people mentally “frame up” their challenges in ways that keep them focused, fully engaged, and mentally healthy.
