stay at home dad. loving my wifey. homeschooling my girls. cooking them food. trying to show them a little adventure. making them Dodgers fans as best I can.
@DoyersDave Is it though? Roki had his best outing today but didn’t get run support. Sheehan had his worst yesterday and threw a sub-90mph fastball. I don’t think anything is obvious
@EdGallrein Dumb@$$, you ever think maybe Massie isn’t the one shifting??? Oh right, that would require THINKING. Not simping for a rapist and convicted felon.
Hey @MLBTV when I paid over $100 to watch Braves games I was told I could watch every game. Why did you lie to me knowing I couldn’t watch Apple TV games and Fox games? Why is it so hard to watch and follow MLB teams?
My dad is 75 and lives in Iowa. He got the MLB Extra Innings package to watch the Tigers again this year - something he plans his whole day around.
Tonight, Detroit (664 miles from his house) hosted Milwaukee (360 miles from his house). Couldn't watch. Blacked out. (1/2)
Welcome to Uniqlo Field at Dodger Stadium.
The Los Angeles Dodgers have sold the naming rights to the field at Dodger Stadium. The Dodgers were one of the few remaining MLB ballparks without a corporate title sponsor.
@StevenNekhaila@grok@AlanDersh Am I crazy or is grok dancing around your question? Seems pretty clear you’re asking about Dershowitz being in the files
If you don’t think that this is good for baseball, there is something seriously wrong with you…
Baseball will be better when the boomer purists are gone. This is good for the game.
This is absolutely electric & I love every second
There’s nothing more annoying than when “baseball fans” call the World Baseball Classic “worthless.”
Do you even like baseball? Does watching nations compete for a title not excite you? Are you dead inside?
#WorldBaseballClassic
Despite the Dodgers being viewed as the new evil empire who's ruining baseball, the stats say the complete opposite...
The Athletic surveyed over 14,000 fans
44% clearly stated that baseball is more enjoyable today than it was 10 years ago
Fan enthusiasm has nearly tripled since 2022, which is almost exactly when the Dodgers started building their dynasty
Despite not having a salary cap, the MLB actually has more parity than both the NFL and NBA
Over the last 10 years
- 13 MLB clubs have made the World Series
- 12 NBA teams have made The Finals
- 9 NFL franchises have made the Super Bowl
The MLB’s real problem isn’t the Dodgers (who led the league in road attendance)...
It’s cheap owners who collect $100 million in revenue sharing just to turn around and spend $60 million on payroll
If you cap the Dodgers at $200 million, the Marlins aren’t suddenly going to spend $200 million
They’d spend $80 million instead of $60 and call it progress
If what you want is a better product, force the owners to spend more with a salary floor
