Jingoistic nationalism of "doing your duty" is pushing the app to be installed regardless of who developed it and why . Same emotional tugging which nearly resulted in us getting mandatory ID cards after 7.7 bombings.
I understand that - I sympathise. But we are being played.
Hancock again deflecting responsibility from the government, putting it onto the public โdoing your dutyโ. How about the government does its duty, protecting the NHS by providing equipment it needs rather than platitudes, skewed statistics & rehashed safety guidance #BBCBreakfast
Matt Hancock @BBCBreakfast has pushed privacy, anonymity, & doing your duty, to try to coerce people into using an untested, privacy level rejected app that has Dominic Cummings all over it. People understandably nervous about state surveillance Public trust in gov extremely low
@moshhamedani thanks, just finished the #aspnetmvc course which has helped fill in some blanks in my knowledge... given the maturity of .net core will you consider an updated course covering https://t.co/x8uuYRg864 core (mvc) any time soon?
@SteveEasterbrk@McDonalds I'm guessing the girl nearly in tears after being turfed out of your head office by a security guard for protesting about excessive plastic toys in your happy meals will make a good advert for you restaurant. Not. #plasticfree#WarOnPlastic#NotLovingIt
Sorry to tweet about politics - Iโm trying not to - but I look at the news in the morning and Iโm sickened by what has happened to our country. Itโs a great place, about to be ruined by absolute charlatans.
Please vote today. Especially if you're under 30. If you feel under represented by the current political parties select the one you dislike the least & vote. If younger voters turned out in the numbers those over 50 did then policy makers would sit up & take notice
@JossFletch@Otto_English@piersmorgan We were not fine before the EU, we were in a shit state in the early 70s & benefitted hugely from joining the common market
