this hellscape no longer has customer service reps so i assume this will just get replies from robots looking to scam me. but none of them will be as good at it as @nyulangone itself
it's not a huge deal but i don't like it when people say "blessed day" kind of things to me either, i find it rude and presumptuous, and the pile on to this tweet definitely isn't making me think otherwise
@said_mitch it's a low bar but at least i don't have to see zuckerberg's stupid thoughts in meme form seven times a day on the same website i use for making little jokes about the news
to each his own but i don't think i find either of these images more or less likable than the other. i think zuckerberg's improved public image is almost entirely due to the increasingly flattering comparison with elon musk
mark zuckerberg successfully nursing his public image and charisma to the point where he’s actually pretty likable is insane given 90% of it was just getting a new haircut
@granderojo i don't care for it when politicians do it either but i accept that it is what it is. for me "have a blessed day" is on the border between merely generic - like "bless you" for sneezing - and explicitly religious, and it might depend on context
Nate Silver claims to have applied my keys to predict a Trump victory. He doesn’t have the faintest idea how to turn the keys. He’s not a historian or a political scientist. He has no academic credentials. He was wrong when he said I could not make an early prediction of Obama‘s re-election. He’ll be wrong again in trying to analyze the keys.
That account is also run by Liza’s bitter ex-publicist, and she’s publicly stated that it makes her really uncomfortable. The account also once posted that Liza had outlived her own mother’s popularity, which is so fucked up considering that Judy died so young and so tragically.
