@scottygb Understand they need every penny but by putting it on TNT it’s become a sideshow. For future games I believe they will need to spread over cities or even countries using existing infrastructure to make the games affordable.
@jtoneysbeat I doubt many will bother watching on TNT , I’ve got it but still won’t bother apart from a few must see moments, if it’s on bbc it becomes a default watch
@LairdSummerisle Much could be done to reduce the burden of the license fee , sponsored shows (eastenders bought to you by xxx ) , it should also be a breeding ground for new talent not paying huge fees to existing stars.
@gkingsventures Hate these modern Star Trek battles where hundreds of ships just stay still with continuous lines to the ships they are firing at , just because cgi makes it possible doesn’t make it a good idea , look at first contact for a proper space battle
@NavyLookout Totally get all your comments but it’s only 3 years ago Navy lookout were unquestionably publishing charts showing the type 23s phasing out between 2025 and 2035, just made we wonder if this was more to do with a lack of sailors/money
@enviro1993@FoxTwo2022@FTusa284 The French only have 40ish Rafale M so we are ahead of them on that score , be interesting to see what comes out of the CCA efforts
@thinkdefence That would be terrible for people over a certain age who watch very little outside of scheduled tv (still a huge number) , I’d prefer a mix of selective advertising and general taxation
@FennellJW What comes after T26 though BAE already talking of laying off their design team , personally would think ADV of type 26 is minimum spec for CCV
