We were forecast for 26C yesterday, yet 29-30C was widely recorded here in Somerset - which makes the model runs for this week even more interesting…

@ben_weather This is looking FAR worse than it was just a few hours ago! It’s now a Cat 5 and gusting up to 220 mph 😳 The storm surge from this is expected to be 12 feet over a huge area and couple with the winds is going to be devastating - there is no other way of putting it. This is bad!
