@jonatanpallesen Interesting. Immigration in Paraguay has been booming and europeans fleeing high tax, woke policies who choose Paraguay for the opposite. As Europe is being replaced by and muslim an african migration, europeans are fleeing in increasing numbers to Paraguay.
My mid-year estimates of equity risk premium, by country, are available for download, if you are interested. This is my first update in three decades, where the US equity risk premium reflects a country risk component, after the Moody's ratings downgrade. https://t.co/akEqGhaFnb
@johnrush Timezone and depending on the country, language and leisure culture. Nearshore in Latin America is a whole different story. Large talent pool-specially in Argentina, Brazil and Colombia- with well rounded local ecosystems, higher pay gap and US qs aspirational goal for talent
@gilmourkh Pre shot routine, narrow targeting and visualizing the shot whether is a high fade or a low stinger is standard to all great players playbook. Guess the same applies to investments as well
Everyone always talks about the cheap concessions or the limited commercials, but Augusta's no-phone policy is by far the best rule in sports.
No phones, just living in the moment.
$TIGO looks solid in Colombia—strong local management and a market that’s likely consolidating into a two-player game mid-term. WOM’s struggles suggest it won’t thrive there. Free cash flow feels promising at ~$1B/year organically, with $500M already earmarked for shareholder remuneration. Two uncertainties remain for me: 5G deployment costs (capex + spectrum) could pressure margins since top-line growth seems incremental at best, and how they’ll allocate the remaining cash. Thoughts?
