I made these during lockdown to get our new Highers started on #RUAE - hopefully they may be of use to some other folx out there. There's an overview, one on word choice, and a (long) guided analysis going through a whole article. Planning an imagery one, too: any other requests?
The way JK Rowling is gleefully going after a c*s woman for the crime of having higher testosterone levels, but not said a word about an actual convicted child rapist taking part in the Olympics says everything about her real thoughts on “protecting women”
The whole “Imane Khelif has XY chromosomes” rumor stemmed from a Russian telegram channel, and then that rumor was subsequently reported by a Russian news agency. That’s it. Russian disinformation.
Khelif is not a man. What we are seeing all over Twitter (@X) today is the result of rampant transphobia on this app spilling over onto someone that isn’t transgender whatsoever.
There are no transgender athletes in the @Olympics this year. We, trans people, have been trying to warn that this would eventually happen to someone that isn’t trans.
It’s now happened to Khelif, who doesn’t meet trad beauty standards & who isn’t feminine enough. Now she’s being transvestigated by all of Twitter.
Shame on you all for jumping to such heated conclusions about someone that doesn’t deserve it.
If you're at Gen Con this weekend, visit the lovely folks at the @modiphius booth (3053) to check out Dark Deeds; we'd love to see your pictures, so do share them and tag us in them, too!

BBC bosses are again refusing to do interviews. In fact the Director General has refused interview requests on the BBC Annual Report, the serious allegations at Strictly and now the Huw Edwards scandal. It is utterly bizarre that this public organisation that we all have a stake in is refusing to face questions on its behaviour.
This weekend we'll be talking all things @stars_andsabers with @jendiagammon and @garethlpowell#InsideTheRookery.
How do you launch a new publishing imprint, and how do you assemble the avengers of speculative fiction to produce a kick-ass anthology of genre fiction?
Labour should NOT have a 63% majority in Parliament when they got just 34% of votes.
It was wrong when FPTP helped the Tories.
It's wrong now.
People voting tactically gave Labour its majority.
Labour OWES them, to change the system so they never have to vote tactically again!
Let me be very fucking clear.
Labour could pass a law to either immediately adopt a fair & proportional voting system, or hold a referendum on it... in an afternoon.
Blair procrastinated on PR, and it never happened.
Anyone saying "not now" is standing in the way of democracy.
#GMB why does Reform get a colour on the count board yet @TheGreenParty are lumped in ‘other’. They’ve both got 4 seats. It’s a huge win for Greens! Not all English people are hard right racists… 🙄
Greens to win as many seats as Reform? Without the constant BBC and press attention? Or the billionaire funding? Or the social media bots?
The British people are so much more decent than their media
As most of the media bangs on about Farage and Reform, the Green Party have won as many seats – all 4 of the seats they targeted. Two were big river seats – people on the River Waveney and River Wye want clean rivers! https://t.co/wUPytZF4nu
The British media: It's been an okay night for the greens as they secure 4 seats
Also the British media: The Reform Party have caused a political earthquake by storming their way to 4 seats
JK Rowling, who often tries to defend her abusive behaviour and bigotry as being about protecting girls, has described the plot of Lolita - where a man kidnaps, grooms, and rapes a 12yo girl - as a "tragic love story"
Almost as literarily ignorant as it is morally repulsive.
